Project Type

The Foundation for Blind Children (FBC) engaged Fose + McKay to execute a complete website revamp that would serve as a central hub to showcase their programs, resources, and initiatives, as well as offer an engaging platform for sharing stories, news, and updates about the foundation.

The Challenge

One of the primary challenges of the project was to optimize the website's design and content for users with visual impairments. Our team collaborated closely with FBC to ensure that the website structure was user-friendly, even with a large volume of pages.

The Solution

Our team focused on improving the FBC website by completely restructuring the website navigation to enhance the user experience. Through a comprehensive information architecture, Fose+McKay helped reorganize and categorize a large volume of pages to enhance user experience. The team deployed an accessibility tool to ensure full ADA compliance, making the website more accessible to all users. We created multiple paths for users to navigate to specific pages based on their needs, providing a seamless and intuitive user experience.

The Impact

A website that meets ADA compliance standards is not only legally required but also sends a positive message to the community and reinforces the brand's commitment to equality and accessibility. Overall, an improved user experience and ADA compliance have a significant impact on the website's success, driving traffic, engagement, and brand loyalty.
